It's great to know that I've actually spent a good amount of my life riding a piece of engineering marvel. The amazing Honda Cub!
I had a Honda C70 for about 10 years. OK, it didnt' feel like I owned a piece of inspired metal when I was using it to get around then. It worked and it was kinda rough-edged. But it was unbreakable. It required very little care and it cost very little to keep it going. Come to think of it, the cub is a piece of all-purpose wonder vehicle. My life would have been much less exciting. One thing for sure, campus life would have been crap without this cub. No midnight movies on the weekends, no teh-tarik sessions at Bangsar, no run-ride to KL or shopping at Sungai Wang. Well, you get what I mean...
Maybe I should get one and keep it handy while the price of petrol spins out of control? Hrm, great idea! I bet you if all of us ride the Honda Cub, there would be less wars across the world. :-)

[1908: A British company strikes oil in Persia (now Iran). It's the first big petroleum find in the Middle East, and it sets off a wave of exploration, extraction and exploitation that will change the region's -- and the world's -- history.]
An oil well hits a gusher in an early oil field.
And Al Gore might not have a second career...
Now how do I nominate the Honda Cub for the Nobel Peace prize?
