I finally managed to file my E-Filling tax returns after discovering the instruction didn't quite touched on a 'digital signature' application that needed to be installed. I found that out this morning but not before I've un-installed my digicert in my lenghty debugging process. I had to go to Kelana Jaya's IRD branch to queue up 2 hours for another digicert this afternoon and then rushed off for a meeting.
Such thrills and spills...just to pay the Taxman.
It was supposed to be more convenient...yes?

For someone who works with the Internet for a living, I can't believe the kind of grief our Taxman is giving out to the average person in filing their tax returns. I've done everything but I just couldn't get it posted. No FAQs, no clear support, nothing.
The 7-ELEVEN of Dive Locations

I heard from a friend that Pulau Redang is fast becoming a 7-ELEVEN eco-tourism destination. It is overcrowded and commercialised to self-destruction.
I'd wanted to take the team there for our mid-year review retreat.
I am reconsidering that option.

'One may not reach the dawn save by the passage of night'
'Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding. Even as the stone of the fruit must break, that its heart may stand in the sun, so must you know pain. And could you keep your heart in wonder at the daily miracles of your life, your pain would not seem less wondrous than your joy; And you would accept the seasons of your heart, even as you have always accepted the seasons that pass over your fields. And you would watch with serenity through the winters of your grief.'
'We choose our joys and sorrows long before we experience them.'
`Work is love made visible. And if you can't work with love but only with distaste, it is better that you should leave your work and sit at the gate of the temple and take alms of the people who work with joy.'

Silence is golden?

I've not been updating my blog recently and if you are checking for new entries, my apologies.
I've been very busy.
It's not that I'm brain-dead when I am busy. On the contrary, I have many many things in my mind that I've been wanting to blog on. But I've also come to a stage where I sometimes wonder if I should talk about a certain something I am dealing with. As in, should I leave my thoughts private thoughts private?
Additionally, I don't quite like the idea of blogging when it seems like my views are a little too dark or grim, which seems to be my state of mind for the past weeks.
Maybe I am just tired.
Maybe it's the damn weather.

My car got broken into, in broad day-light on a busy street in the vicinity of MPPJ. And my laptop was stolen from my car boot. I understand from the police officer that since the police has paid attention on the snatch-thef problems, desperate thieves are finding an alternative source of income that is less risky.

I forgot to add that along with my laptop that has all my business and personal data, I also lost my PDA and a notepad full of jottings and doodles from many many meetings with clients.
