I met Alan Gan of SpaceM about 4 months ago. He told me he was born in Malaysia, raised in Singapore, studied in Australia and then worked in London as a banker.
That was before he quit to come home.
He said he couldn't be a banker anymore, and he had a dream. He asked me whether I can help him setup an online business selling men's grooming products.
I have a great team at XIMNET and I have an e-commerce system, XTOPIA, the versatile and robust platform that can make his dream a reality. But I needed to know if this person sitting in front of me will be worth the effort.
I looked at him and tried to place him along the many people who had met and told me their dot com dreams. Dreamers, talkers, and so many other crazies. Alan exuded a different aura. He seemed focused, and while undoubtedly uncertain about what he was about to plunge into, he looked like somebody who will stick to something to make it happen. That was important to me.
And so I told him I would. And we worked out the fees and how he will pay me.
He then took a trip to London and convinced many of his suppliers to back him up. He didn't have the capital, he has no experience.
It was a coup!
And now here it is, the SpaceM online store! >> http://www.spacemstore.com/
I have a hunch. I believe SpaceM (www.spacemstore.com) will be big. Very big.
Why? Because I believe more and more Asian men will start caring for their looks and how they project themselves.

I know will.
